After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University in just three years of study, Gregory entered the Hospitality Industry where he enjoyed a very successful career. Leading some of the largest Brands and Hotels across the country he gained a great deal of experience in training, communication, and service.
Rising through the corporate ranks eventually owning and operating multiple hotels, restaurants, bars, and music pavilions of his own, he had the luxury to work part time as a coach. In 2000 he retired from the Hospitality Industry to focus on his true passion of helping others achieve their goals and dreams within the game of baseball.
Considered by many to be the preeminent coach for Catchers in Michigan. His technical knowledge as a Engineer combined with his training experience in the hospitality industry allows him to take complex subjects and present them to the student-athletes in the format they can best learn in.
In addition to working with Catchers Gregory also trains and instructs the Diamond Jaxx Teams in Hitting, Baserunning, Infield and Outfield work. A Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist he has built and fine tuned the Strength and Training Programs for the Macomb Community College Baseball Program, Heidelberg University Baseball Team, as well as the in-house D-Jaxx players.
